The Porter Select board meetings will be open to the public through Zoom for the duration of the State of Emergency due to COVID-19. You can access this with your desktop, laptop, or phone. If you are using a desk top or laptop simply go to www.zoom.com , click on “join a meeting”, at the top of the screen, enter the meeting ID number and password (which will be available below or by emailing or calling the town office at 207-625-8344 – a new number is issued for every meeting), and click “join”. When the launch application box appears click on “open link”, then click on “join with computer audio. You are now logged on to the meeting.
If you are using a cell phone, first download the zoom app. Open the app and click on “join meeting”, type in the meeting ID number - available below, then click “join”, and you are part of the meeting.
If the public has a question or would like to make a comment, we are happy to receive an e-mail or letter or a verbal submission prior to the meeting. Due to the limitations of the web conferencing, the board will limit public input at these meetings to written prior submission. The board may elect to respond at a time other than the meeting. E-mail requests may be submitted through the Town website: portermaine.org, at the “Have a Question? section, halfway down the Home page.
